Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC/DC converter improved in reliability.SOLUTION: A feedback circuit 206 drives a light-emitting element of a photocoupler 204 so that a detection voltage Vnears a target voltage according to an output voltage Vof a DC/DC converter 200. A primary-side controller 202 is connected to the light-receiving element of the photocoupler 204, and switches a switching transistor M1 according to a feedback signal V. A synchronous rectification controller 300 has a gate (GATE) pin connected to a gate electrode of a synchronous rectification transistor M2, and drives the synchronous rectification transistor M2. A gate open detection circuit 350 is provided outside the synchronous rectification controller 300, and connected to the gate electrode of the synchronous rectification transistor M2. The gate open detection circuit judges no pulse appearing on the gate electrode as a gate open abnormality in which the gate pin of the synchronous rectification controller 300 is electrically open.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
