Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing calcium hydroxide which is able to more conveniently and more inexpensively control its crystal growth under normal temperature and atmospheric pressure, which condition loads less burden on an environment.SOLUTION: The process of the present invention comprises a step for providing suspension by mixing calcium silicate having a chemical composition represented by 3CaO SiOand belonging to a monoclinic system, slag, and water, and a step for curing the suspension under a condition without temperature control and pressure control.SELECTED DRAWING: None
