Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device for an electric vehicle capable of suppressing outflow of an interference current to the outside, and a power conversion method for the electric vehicle.SOLUTION: A power conversion device for an electric vehicle of one embodiment includes a step-up part, a power conversion part, a current detection part, a voltage detection part and a step-up control part. The step-up part boosts DC power supplied from overhead power lines. The power conversion part converts the DC power boosted by the step-up part into DC power for driving a DC load mounted on the electric vehicle. The current detection part individually detects a DC current value and an AC current value of an input side of the step-up part. The voltage detection part detects a voltage of an output side of the power conversion part. The step-up control part controls the step-up part based on the current values detected by the current detection part and the voltage detected by the voltage detection part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
