Abstract:
To provide a polycarbonate resin composition for an optical member which is excellent in transparency and excellent in balance of fluidity and impact resistance.SOLUTION: The polycarbonate resin composition for an optical member contains more than 1 pt.mass and 7 pts.mass or less of a silicone compound (B) based on 100 pts.mass of an aromatic polycarbonate resin (A) having a viscosity-average molecular weight of 12,000-16,000. The silicone compound (B) does not contain a silanol group at its terminal, has a kinematic viscosity at 25°C of more than 3,000 mm/sec and less than 50,000 mm/sec and a refractive index (nD) at 25°C of 1.560-1.600, and satisfies the following formula (1): |nPC-nSi|×νSi≤21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
