Abstract:
To provide a technique for estimating the absolute degree of vocabulary ability of an infant.SOLUTION: The ability estimation device includes a storage unit 1 in which information on a probability of children of each age x having acquired each of a plurality of words is stored, and an ability age calculating unit 3 that, based on information on whether or not a target child to be subjected to estimation of an ability has acquired each of a plurality of words and information, read from the storage unit 1, on the probability of children of each age x having acquired each of a plurality of words, determines an ability age which is an index indicating which level of vocabulary ability of children of which age the target child has.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
