Abstract:
To improve the calculation accuracy of absorbance.SOLUTION: A method conducts spectral analysis of light from a light emitting element 27 to separate it to a reference light and an incident light, it calculates the absorbance of the sample water content based on the reference light intensity, the intensity ratio A between this and the distilled water transmitted light intensity, the reference light intensity, and transmitted light intensity are measured respectively when a calibration transmission member 55 is located at an insertion position and an evacuation position in a state in which the sample water absorbance is known in a measurement cell unit 12, thus a filter absorbance of the calibration transmission member 55 calculates a gap coefficient β based on a gap Z defined before and after the calibration transmission member 55, and the intensity ratio A is corrected so that the absorbance calculated from the transmitted light intensity when the calibration transmission member 55 is located at the insertion position equals the total of the filter absorbance multiplied by the gap coefficient β of the absorbance calculated from the transmitted light intensity when the calibration transmission member 55 is located in the evacuation position in a state in which the sample water to be measured is in the cell unit 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
