Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a molded body capable of easily cutting off a cut-off part.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a molded body which comprises a gate space filling step, a molding space filling step, a curing step and a cutting-off step. In the gate space filling step, a molding raw material is filled in a gate space 12. In the molding space filling step, the molding raw material is supplied from the gate space 12 to the molding space 11 via a first communication passage 13 to fill the molding raw material in the molding space 11. In the curing step, the molding raw material is cured to form a molded body 20 containing a product part 21 cured in the molding space 11, a first non-product part 22 cured in the gate space 12 and a first cut-off part 23 cured in the first communication passage 13. In the cutting-off step, the molded body 20 is cut-off along the first cut-off part 23 to cut into the product part 21 and the first non-product part 22. The first cut-off part 23 has at least one of pores 23a formed inside and recesses 23b formed on the surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4(A)
