Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for oral cavity capable of improving storage stability of viscosity while stably securing high adsorptivity of an oil-soluble pharmaceutical ingredient to gum or oral mucosa.SOLUTION: There is provided a composition for oral cavity which comprises a component (A): 0.01 mass% or more and 3.5 mass% or less of an oil-soluble pharmaceutical ingredient, a component (B): 3 mass% or more and 30 mass% or less of a higher alcohol having 12 or more and 22 or less of carbon atoms including cetanol (b1) and stearyl alcohol (b1), a component (C): 0.1 mass% or more and 10 mass% or less of a surfactant including one or two or more nonionic surfactants selected from a sorbitan fatty acid ester and a polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester, a component (D): water and a component (E): 0.01 mass% or more to 1 mass% or less of one or two or more binders selected from a carboxyvinyl polymer and a (meth)acrylic acid/(meth)acrylic acid alkyl copolymer, wherein the mass ratio ((B)/(E)) between the content of the component (B) and the content of the component (E) is 3 or more and 280 or less and the content of a cellulose-based binder is 0.3 mass% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
