Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbine housing which improves turbine efficiency.SOLUTION: A nozzle flow passage 21 and a scroll flow passage 16 which is arranged while hanging out to a direction of a rotating shaft from the nozzle flow passage 21 are formed in a turbine housing 4. When setting a cross section of the scroll flow passage 16 which passes a tongue part 23 of the scroll flow passage 16, and sets a cross section area minimum as a reference cross section 25, a contour line 27 of the reference cross section 25 has an irregular shape portion 29 which is formed in a hang-out portion at a side at which a hang-out amount from the nozzle flow passage 21 is larger, and in a portion at the inside of a radial direction rather than a center of the reference cross section 25 in a rotation radial direction of a turbine rotor 6, and the irregular shape portion 29 includes an internally-curved portion 31 having a shape protruding toward the inside of the reference cross section 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
