Abstract:
A non-contact power supply device (1) that comprises: a non-contact power supply unit (2) that supplies alternating-current power in a non-contact manner; a non-contact power reception unit (3) that receives alternating-current power in a non-contact manner; a direct-current transformation circuit (5) that transforms direct-current received voltage (VR) obtained from the non-contact power reception unit into direct-current load voltage (VL) and supplies the direct-current load voltage to an electrical load (9) and that also performs a reverse-direction boosting operation when the electrical load is regenerating power; an overvoltage detection unit (6) that detects when the direct-current received voltage has reached a prescribed overvoltage-determining threshold voltage (Vlmt) and then generates a cutoff signal (Sc); and a reverse-direction cutoff unit (7) that, during normal times, allows conduction between the direct-current transformation circuit and the electrical load and, when the cutoff signal has been generated, cuts off a reverse direction that goes from the electrical load to the direct-current transformation circuit. Because the direct-current received voltage does not increase after exceeding the threshold voltage, a protection function operates on regenerative power.
