Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system enhanced in humidification performance of an electrolyte membrane.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system comprises: a fuel cell having a membrane-electrode assembly in which a reaction of electric power generation of a fuel gas and an oxidizer gas is performed, and a pair of separators with the membrane-electrode assembly arranged therebetween; a storing unit for storing the fuel gas; and a re-circulation unit for re-circulating the fuel gas drained from the fuel cell through the fuel cell. In one of the pair of separators, an anode flow path for fuel gas circulation is provided; and in the other separator, a cathode flow path for oxidizer gas circulation is provided. To the anode flow path, a first introduction hole for introducing a fuel gas of the storing unit, and a second introduction hole for introducing a fuel gas of the re-circulation unit on a downstream side of the first introduction hole are connected. To the cathode flow path, a third introduction hole for introducing an oxidizer gas, and an outlet for draining the oxidizer gas are connected. The first introduction hole is disposed closer to the outlet than the third introduction hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
