Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a papermaking machine which can control thickness of a papermaking body in the width direction toward factors which change along with time.SOLUTION: The papermaking machine contains: one or more tanks for storing a raw material slurry; a sheeting apparatus which makes a sheet from a solid component in the slurry from the tank; and a sheet-like regulator covering at least a part of a sheeting apparatus surface with a sheet piece which is composed of a plurality of sheets laminated corresponding to the thickness approximately in the width direction of the papermaking body sheet-formed with the sheeting apparatus and controlling the amount of the solid component in the width direction sheeted with the sheeting apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
