PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct an outer shell with few joint seams or a strong outer shell.SOLUTION: In a preceding shield tunnel construction process, a first partition wall 41A and a second partition wall 41B that divide an outer shell body planed region 13B into a side portion and a central portion, and a first support column 42A and a second support column 42B for supporting the first partition wall 41A and the second partition wall 41B are installed, and a cuttable filler is cast in cuttable filler regions 51A and 51B partitioned by the first partition wall 41A and the second partition wall 41B in the outer shell body planed region 13B. In the succeeding shield tunnel construction process, a succeeding shield tunnel is constructed by cutting a preceding outer shell 13A and the cuttable filler. In an outer shell construction process, a part of the succeeding outer shell of the succeeding shield tunnel, the cuttable filler in the preceding shield tunnel, and the partition wall are removed, and concrete is cast in the preceding shield tunnel 13 and the succeeding shield tunnel and integrated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
