PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas detection device capable of preventing heat inside a furnace from being transferred to a display unit, thus preventing the display unit from being heated.SOLUTION: A gas detection device 1 for detecting a specific gas inside a furnace 60 is provided, comprising: a gas detection unit 2 disposed inside the furnace 60 and configured to detect the specific gas inside the furnace 60; a display unit 3 disposed outside the furnace 60 and configured to display certain states according to a result of detection by the gas detection unit 2; and a heat transfer preventer 7 disposed outside the furnace 60 and configured to prevent heat inside the furnace 60 from being transferred to the display unit 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
