Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-pressure trunnion-type ball valve which is suitable for, in particular, a high-pressure fluid, makes a self-restraining force function by using the pressure of fluid flowing in the valve even if the valve is opened and closed at a high speed and at a high frequency, and can prevent leakage by sufficiently securing seal performance between a seat retainer and a ball by the self-restraining force, and a hydrogen station using the same.SOLUTION: A high-pressure trunnion-type ball valve has: a ball 10 which is arranged in a body 3 so as to be turnable; a seat retainer 12 which is seal-connected to the ball 10; and a spring member 13 for imparting a resilient force to the seal side of the seat retainer 12. A clearance CL is formed between the seat retainer 12 and the body 3 in a state that fluid pressure in a cavity C can be applied to a back face side of the seat retainer 12, and a communication hole 55 is formed at the ball 10 in a state that the fluid can circulate between an in-ball flow passage 10a and the cavity C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
