Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device which can suppress a luminescent layer from being disabled in light emission capability, and a method for manufacturing the organic EL display device.SOLUTION: An organic EL display device 1 generally comprises: a laminate 21 in which e.g. a first barrier film 11, a first electrode 14, an organic luminescent layer 16 and a second electrode 18 are disposed over a first barrier film 11 in this order; an insulative film 20 disposed around the laminate 21 on the first barrier film 11; a metal film 22 disposed on the first barrier film 11 so as to extend along the insulative film 20; and a second barrier film 12 put together with the first barrier film 11 so that the laminate 21, the insulative film 20 and the metal film 22 are arranged between the first and second barrier films.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
