Abstract:
To suppress wire breakage of a power cable for electrically connecting on-vehicle electric apparatuses at a vehicle collision.SOLUTION: A power cable 20 has a cable conductor 24, a terminal 28 having a caulking part 32 for caulking an end part of the cable conductor 24, and an end part housing 34 arranged at an end part of the power cable 20, and accommodating the terminal. The end part housing 34 has a columnar-shaped caulking-part protection part 38 in which the end part of the cable conductor 24 and the caulking part 32 are embedded and integrally formed, and a notch 42 extending in a peripheral direction is formed at a root of the caulking-part protection part 38. At a collision, the caulking-part protection part 38 is fractured by the notch 42, and a length capable of warping the power cable 20 is elongated. By this constitution, force acting on the power cable 20 is reduced, and wire breakage can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
