PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform transmission control of destination split mail, where envelope information was created for every destination, by using the envelope information before destination split.SOLUTION: A judgement is made whether other electronic mail, having the same identification information as that of an electronic mail received from a certain apparatus, has already been acquired. When a judgement is made that other electronic mail having the same identification information has already been acquired, and the time of receipt of the received electronic mail and the time of receipt of other electronic mail are within a coupling standby time, envelope information is integrated. The integrated envelope information is collated with a relay control rule, and when it matches the conditions set in the relay control rule, the processing set in the relay control rule is executed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
