Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric artificial hand whose cost and weight can be reduced.SOLUTION: An electric artificial hand comprises an artificial hand body part, artificial fingers extending from the artificial hand body part so as to be bendable, wires provided along the artificial fingers, a traction device 200 for bending the artificial fingers by pulling the wires from the side of an arm of a user, and a pulse signal generation unit. The traction device 200 includes a direct acting stepping motor 250. The pulse signal generation unit gives a pulse signal to the direct acting stepping motor. In the traction device 200, the wires are pulled by the direct acting stepping motor 250, and the artificial fingers are bent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
