Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of securely fixing a center post and preventing disengagement of the center post, even when a drop rod is not sufficiently inserted into a recess of a floor.SOLUTION: A biasing member 22 made of an elastic material is fixed on an upper wall and a lower wall of a case 21 and stretched therebetween. Moreover, the biasing member 22 has protrusions being a first restricting part 23 and a second restricting part 24 formed thereon. When a protrusion 31 of a drop rod 12 is present below the first restricting part 23, the first restricting part 23 restricts an upward movement of the drop rod 12. At the same time, a protruding arc-shaped part from a part fixed on the lower wall of the case 21 to the first restricting part 23 acts as a bottom biasing part 25 which applies a downward force on the protrusion 31 of the drop rod 12. Thus, even when the drop rod 12 is caused to rise up, this movement is suppressed, preventing a failure of the center post becoming disengaged due to a fit with a recess 5 on a floor surface 4 being released.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
