Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a super-resolution image which allows a high-accuracy high-resolution image to be constantly acquired with a simple algorithm and without any classification processing.SOLUTION: According to a super-resolution image generating apparatus of the present invention, by using high correlation between subbands of the same kind obtained by subband dividing processing and having different layers, there is obtained predictive subband data HL'(0), LH'(0), HH'(0) of subband data HL(0), LH(0), HH(0) required for obtaining a super-resolution image LL(-1) obtained by expanding resolution of an original image LL(0) twice. Then, a high-accuracy super-resolution image is acquired by subband synthesizing processing using the original image LL(0) and the predictive subband data HL'(0), LH'(0), HH'(0).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
