Abstract:
To provide an estimation method with an improved estimation accuracy of a battery charge amount.SOLUTION: In the method of estimating the dischargeable charge amount of a battery; open the battery and then measure an open circuit voltage of the battery multiple times and calculate the change rate of the open circuit voltage; estimate the convergence value of the open circuit voltage based on the mathematical model and the open circuit voltages in the period from when the calculated change rate of the open circuit voltage becomes less than or equal to a first predetermined value to when it becomes equal to or less than a second predetermined value smaller than the first predetermined value; and estimate the battery charge amount based on the estimated open circuit voltage convergence value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
