Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder that transports a sheet with overlap feed prevented for even long paper.SOLUTION: A paper feeder comprises a conveyor belt that is located above a sheet rested on a sheet table and sucks the sheet to convey the same in a sheet-transport direction, a suction part that is provided at an inside of the conveyor belt and sucks air to attract the sheet to the conveyor belt, a separation-air blower part that blows separation air toward the sheet rested on the sheet table, and a control section that controls the conveyor belt to convey a first sheet in the sheet-transport direction after a rear end side of the first sheet floats to a second height higher than a first height of a top surface of a plurality of sheets that are in a rested state on the sheet table.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
