PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bird damage prevention tool that can improve working properties of the mounting work of a cord of wire, etc.SOLUTION: A bird damage prevention tool includes: an electric wire mounting part 2 mounted in electric wire C, a first gripping member 7 ranged to the electric wire mounting part 2 and extending perpendicularly to an axis line L1 of the electric wire C, the first gripping member 7 that has an opening 3 opened in the direction separated from the electric wire C and includes a supporting part 6 provided with a fitting recess 5 capable of fitting a cord through the opening 3; and a second gripping member connected around an axis line being parallel to the axis line L1 of the electric wire C in an angularly-displacing manner in one end near the side of the electric wire mounting part 2 of the supporting part 6, and including a pressing part 8 for pressing the cord being fitted to the fitting recess 5 against the supporting part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
