Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail for bathtubs prevented from causing positional deviation, or the like when being mounted and, even when horizontal force is applied thereto, strongly prevented from rotating and falling on an upper face of a bathtub-side wall.SOLUTION: The handrail for bathtubs includes: a body frame including a placement part to which a handrail body is attached and that is placed on an upper face of a bathtub side wall, and a contact part that comes into contact with one side face of the bathtub side wall; an auxiliary frame detachably attached to the body frame; a pressing part that presses the other side face in an opposite side of the side face of the bathtub side wall with which the contact part comes into contact; and a moving device that is attached to the auxiliary frame and forward/backward moves the pressing part with respect to the contact part. Further, placement part has an extension part extending outward a grip support part in the width direction of the placement part. The contact part is configured to thicken or thin the thickness of a partial area thereof more than the thickness of a residual area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
