Abstract:
To provide a stator and a rotary electric machine that can be miniaturized.SOLUTION: A stator 2 comprises: a stator core 21 having a first end surface 21b, a second end surface, and a plurality of slots 24; and a stator coil (10) composed of a plurality of flat wires inserted from a first end surface 21b to a second end surface in the plurality of slots 24. When viewing a predetermined flat wires among the plurality of flat wires, other flat wires are adjacent to each other in parallel with the side surfaces 10S including the long side of the cross section facing each other inside the slot 24, and further other flat wires are adjacent to each other in parallel with the side surfaces 10S including the long side of the cross section facing each other outside of the slot 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
