Abstract:
To more effectively improve the rigidity of connection between an internal combustion engine and a power transmission device.SOLUTION: A truss-bar fastening boss part 30 is integrally connected to a frame-like body FB of an almost rectangular shape, which is composed of an intake-side cam ladder fastening boss part 32b, an intake-side cam ladder 70 and an intake-side cam bracket 72, a lubrication oil passage forming boss part 36a, a side wall 22a and a rear wall 22d of a cylinder head 2. With this, as compared with a structure in which the truss-bar fastening boss part 30 is provided as a single unit, the rigidity of the truss-bar fastening boss part 30 can be improved. As a result, bending or twist mode vibration, which acts in a direction of separating the mounting face parts of an internal combustion engine 1 and a transmission 90 in association with operation of the internal combustion engine 1, can be effectively suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
