PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow rate detection device capable of making flow rate detection accuracy higher than before.SOLUTION: A flow rate detection device A includes a magnetic ball 3 that is disposed in an annular flow channel 10b so as to circulate through an annular flow channel 10b according to a rotating flow of fluid, and a magnetic sensor S that is disposed at a position of either an outer periphery or an inner periphery of the annular flow channel 10b and performs detection at each time when the magnetic ball 3 approaches. Since the magnetic ball 3 is a non-circular shape whose longest length Lm is longer than a width Wb of the annular flow channel 10b in a shaft length direction view of a rotation center shaft unit 20, auto-rotation in the shaft length direction view in the annular flow channel 10b is restricted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
