Abstract:
To provide a novel mixing chamber for mixing blood and a replenisher on a blood channel outside a body.SOLUTION: There is provided a mixing chamber 10 in which an inflow port 12 of blood and an inflow port 14 of a replenisher are opened in a direction offset from a center axis L of a peripheral wall 20 in an inner face 25 of a cylindrical peripheral wall 20 so as to generate a liquid flow in a circumferential direction. The inflow port 12 of blood and the inflow port 14 of the replenisher are provided at the same height in the direction of the center axis L of the peripheral wall 20. The opening direction of the inflow port 14 of the replenisher which is an inflow direction of the replenisher through the inflow port 14 of the replenisher is oriented upward relative to an opening direction of the inflow port 12 of the blood which is an inflow direction of blood through the inflow port 12 of blood.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
