Abstract:
To provide a cart allowing a customer to change a direction of a scanner so that the scanner can easily read a commodity code.SOLUTION: A shopping cart of an embodiment includes: a caster part provided so as to freely travel on a floor surface; a frame provided upward from a rear end of the caster part; a placement part for placing a commodity on the caster part or a front side of the frame; a lateral frame provided horizontally in its axial direction; and a commodity code reading device that is attached to the lateral frame in a tiltable manner around an axis, and captures an image of a commodity code identifying a commodity to read the commodity code on the basis of the captured image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
