Abstract:
To provide an electrically-driven rail truck which cannot only carry and safely transport relatively long machinery and materials when plural trucks are connected but also be easily moved by hands.SOLUTION: In an electrically-driven rail truck comprising a truck body (10) which has plural wheels rolling on rails, a motor (21) outputting drive power to rotate the wheels, a brake mechanism (31) to brake the movement of the truck body, a control device (50) which has communication means and controls the motor and the brake mechanism, a hand push rod (17) to move the truck body and a sensor (18) which can detect a foreign object around the truck body, the sensor is an area sensor which is able to switch monitoring ranges and is constituted to switch the monitoring range of the sensor in response to the control mode of the control device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
