Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable floor mat for automobile that spontaneously becomes folded so that it is possible to move the seat smoothly with response to frontward movement of a seat in an automobile such as seats in the second row and the third row for when passengers get off the automobile, and that spontaneously returns, from the folded state, to a lying state that is the original flat state when the seat is returned to a rear side.SOLUTION: The foldable floor mat for automobile includes a mat main body part 2 in a substantially rectangular shape in plan view. At the intermediate portion of the mat main body part 2 in the width direction, a first thin part 11 continuing over the substantially entire length of the mat main body part in the longitudinal direction is formed. A raised part 3, which stands in at least a partial region of the entire length of the mat main body part in the longitudinal direction, is provided on one end of the mat main body part 2 in the width direction. In an inwardly near position of the raised part 3 in the mat main body part 2, a second thin part 12 continuing over the substantially entire length of the mat main body part in the longitudinal direction is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
