PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent capable of controlling plant diseases using a thienopyrimidine derivative based on a finding of the thienopyrimidine derivative having an effect of inducing expression of a disease-resistant gene of a plant.SOLUTION: There are provided some thienopyrimidine derivatives which induce expression of disease-resistant genes of a plant such as PR-1 gene and exhibit excellent controlling effect on plant diseases caused by anthracnose of Brassicaceae vegetables or the like.SELECTED DRAWING: None
