Abstract:
To provide a folding bed that reduces a load on a user's lumbar part by maintaining user's satisfactory posture in a reclining state.SOLUTION: A folding bed 1 has a bed part 2 including an upper half body side bed part (upper body part) 8 on which a user's upper half body side S1 is placed and a lower half body side bed part (lower body part) 9 on which a user's lower half body side S2 is placed. In a side view of the bed, the folding bed is deformable between a horizontal state in which the upper body part 8 and the lower body part 9 are roughly horizontal and a folding state in which the upper and the lower body parts are folded in an inverted V-shape. The upper body part 8 contains a righting part 10. The righting part 10 is structured in a deformable manner between a horizontal state and a reclining state in which a user's upper half body side S1 placed on the upper body part 8 is righted obliquely. In the righting part 10, there is provided a lumbar support 14 that projects to a user's side by inclination to the reclining state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
