Abstract:
To provide a lifeline engaging device which can be installed without damaging a roof.SOLUTION: A lifeline engaging device 1 includes a rod member 2, at least two first support members 3 spaced in an axial direction 21 of the rod member 2, a second support member 4 connected to the first support member 3, and a connecting member 5 connecting the first support member 4 to a roof. The rod member 2 is arranged so that the axial direction 21 extends along a main ridge located at the top of the roof. The first support members 3 are positioned on both sides of the main ridge respectively, and fixed to the second support member 4. The connecting member 5 is fixed to the second support member 4, but the connecting member 5 extends in the axial direction 21 in which the main ridge 11 extends, and is provided substantially symmetrically with respect to the main ridge 11. Three second support members 4 spaced apart from each other in the axial direction 21 are fixed in a spaced manner in each of the connecting members 5. By using the connecting member 5, the entire lifeline engaging device 1 can be fixed to the roof 10 by clamping a seam 12 of a lateral roofing roof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
