Abstract:
To provide a cylindrical block which can realize a rigid civil engineering structure integrated with the subsoil at low cost by being mutually engaged and restricted with adjacent cylindrical blocks when installed with other multiple cylindrical blocks to construct a civil engineering structure, and to provide the civil engineering structure using the cylindrical blocks.SOLUTION: There is provided a cylindrical block used in a civil engineering structure, in which multiple annular uneven portions 20 are disposed in a cylindrical outer peripheral portion 10 of the cylindrical block along an axial direction of the cylindrical block, recesses 22 and protrusions 21 are alternately arranged in a circumferential direction at equal pitch, and phases of adjacent recesses and adjacent protrusions of the annular uneven portions are displaced by a half pitch in the circumferential direction among the multiple annular uneven portions disposed along the axial direction of the cylindrical block.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
