Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device supplied with DC power and a lighting fixture which are compact in size and capable of preventing, at a low cost, damage due to lightning surge.SOLUTION: A lighting device supplied with DC power comprises: an input filter circuit having a first terminal and a second terminal provided on the input side, a first line connected to the first terminal, a second line connected to the second terminal, a coil connected in series to the first line, two capacitors connecting the first line to the second line, and a surge protection diode provided with a cathode connected to the output side of the first line as well as an anode connected to the output side of the second line; a buck converter circuit connected to both ends of the surge protection diode; and a control unit which controls the buck converter circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
