Abstract:
To provide a palladium precipitation and separation method that can separate efficiently palladium with high industrial value.SOLUTION: Adding of a pyridine compound having a halogen group as a substituent to a hydrochloric acid solution having a platinum group metal makes it possible to precipitate and recover selectively, from the platinum group metal, divalent platinum group metal ions, or divalent platinum group metal ions and tetravalent platinum group metal ions. Particularly, when 2-halogenated pyridine is used, only palladium ions as the divalent platinum group metal ions can be precipitated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
