Title:
燃料電池のアノード用触媒、アノード及び燃料電池
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6924342
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for an anode of a fuel cell that achieves high HOR activity, CO resistance, and oxidation resistance, while reducing an amount of platinum to be used.SOLUTION: A catalyst for an anode of a fuel cell is provided that comprises a platinum skin layer composed of one or two atomic layers on the surface of an alloy particle made of an alloy of platinum and a transition metal. The alloy particle made of an alloy of platinum and a transition metal such as iron, cobalt, and nickel has a platinum skin layer composed one or two atomic layers, preferably two atomic layers to enhance the performance of the fuel cell. The atomic composition of the transition metal in the alloy particle is 10-80%, preferably 25-60%, wherein the transition metal is iron or cobalt.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
