Abstract:
To provide a gravure printing method which improves ink transferability of aqueous ink, and can suppress plate fogging.SOLUTION: A gravure printing method that stores aqueous ink in an ink pan and performs printing by a gravure roll, in which the aqueous ink contains a pigment, a polymer, an organic solvent, a surface active agent and water, a content of the organic solvent having a boiling point of 100°C or higher and 260°C or lower is 0.3 mass% or more and 12 mass% or less in the aqueous ink, the average particle size of the pigment particles is 120 nm or more and 350 nm or less, and arithmetic average roughness (Ra) of the gravure roll print surface is 10 nm or more and 140 nm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
