Abstract:
To reduce a delay in an L2 network while suppressing a reduction in transmission quality.SOLUTION: A communication device, which forms a layer 2 network having a layer 2 switch, includes a transfer unit which, in a transfer between predetermined links, reads only accumulation data, which is partial data starting from a top of a frame, and determines whether or not an error has occurred in partial data, which is the partial data of the accumulation data, and on determining that the error has occurred, discards the frame, whereas on determining that the error has not occurred, transfers the frame.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
