Abstract:
To provide a monitoring device capable of securing safety of a subject by appropriately detecting a rising motion of the subject.SOLUTION: A monitoring device for monitoring a subject on bedding is provided with: a receiving part which receives a reflected wave of a microwave radiated on the subject; a signal generation part which generates an I channel signal and a Q channel signal orthogonal to each other from a signal of the reflected wave; and a detection part 57 which detects motions of the subject for every predetermined time based on the I channel signal and the Q channel signal in a control circuit 152. The motion of the subject includes at least one of approaching motions and leaving motions of the subject to and from the monitoring device. The monitoring device is provided with: a determination part 58 which determines whether or not the subject rises up based on frequencies of the approaching motions and frequencies of the leaving motions in a duration in which the motions of the subject continue; and an output control part 54 which outputs warning information when the subject rises up.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
