Abstract:
Provided are: a novel cell porous body which is able to be utilized as a heat dissipation member; and a method for producing this cell porous body. A cell porous body which contains a matrix resin and a thermally conductive material that is dispersed in the matrix resin, and which contains at least a spheroidal graphite as the thermally conductive material. A method for producing a cell porous body, which is characterized by comprising: a foaming step wherein a liquid composition containing a resin that has a functional group in a side chain, a frothing agent and a spheroidal graphite is mechanically foamed; and a curing step wherein the liquid composition is cured by having the functional groups of the resin react with each other, having the functional groups of a polyfunctional crosslinking agent react with each other, and/or having the functional groups of the resin and the functional groups of the polyfunctional crosslinking agent react with each other. This method for producing a cell porous body is also characterized in that the foaming step and the curing step are carried out at the same time and/or the curing step is carried out after the foaming step.
