Abstract:
To provide a fluid energy conversion device capable of efficiently converting kinetic energy of a fluid such as an air flow or a water flow into mechanical rotation power (energy of rotational motions).SOLUTION: A fluid energy conversion device comprises: a fluid inflow part 2 which includes multiple spaces separated by vertical walls in a circumferential direction and in which a fluid flows from the outside into the spaces; a fluid storage part 3 which includes a fluid storage space 33 communicated with the spaces of the fluid inflow part via check valves and in which the fluid flows in from the spaces but the fluid does not reversely flow to the spaces; and a fluid discharge part 4 including a fluid discharge pipe 42 which is communicated with the fluid storage space of the fluid storage part and in which a rotor 41 is disposed, for rotationally driving the rotor with the fluid which is discharged from the fluid storage space of the fluid storage part through the fluid discharge pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
