Abstract:
To provide a silica-based particle-containing dispersion and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: To a dispersion containing uniform silica particles with an average particle diameter of 3 to 10 nm, a hydrolyzable metal compound is added for hydrolysis in the presence of an alkali catalyst in order to grow the silica particles so that a uniform silica-based particle dispersion with an average particle diameter of more than 10 nm and 300 nm or less is produced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
