Abstract:
To provide a rotary granular material furnace advantageous for saving energy cost and maintenance cost by saving consumption of gas by enhancing a contact efficiency of gas to a granular material.SOLUTION: A rotary granular material furnace comprises: a cylindrical rotary container 10 in which a granular material 1 is accommodated and rotates about the axis A of itself; a gas discharge passage 20 which extends in the direction of the axis A along an inner peripheral surface of the rotary container 10; and a gas supply means 30 for supplying gas to contact the granular material 1 to the gas discharge passage 20 when it is moved to the lower portion in accordance with the rotation of the rotary container 10. The granular material 1 accommodated inside of the rotary container 10 flows so as to be stored in the lower portion of the rotary container 10 as the rotary container 10 rotates. When the gas discharge passage 20 is moved to a position corresponding to the granular material 1 flowing so as to be stored in the lower portion thereof with the rotation of the rotary container 10, the gas is supplied to the gas discharge passage 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
