Abstract:
To provide a hydrogen formation catalyst for forming hydrogen by decomposing water, and a manufacturing method and a manufacturing apparatus thereof.SOLUTION: A hydrogen formation catalyst 1 having a layer of molybdenum disulfide 2 on a substrate 3 and subjected to plasma treatment is characterized by having a countless number of laminated protrusions 5 of the molybdenum disulfide. Preferably, the hydrogen formation catalyst 1 is covered by a graphene 9 and used as an electrode. In a manufacturing method of the hydrogen formation catalyst, the molybdenum disulfide 2 is laminated on the surface of the substrate 3 and filed, and a countless number of laminated protrusions 5 of the molybdenum disulfide is formed and subjected to plasma treatment. Preferably, the hydrogen formation catalyst 1 is manufactured by covering the surface with a graphene 9 and manufactured as an electrode. A manufacturing apparatus of the hydrogen formation catalyst includes an aluminum plate supply drum 22, a molybdenum disulfide supply pipe 23, a pressing drum 24, a diamond file 26, a plasma generator 27, and a hydrogen formation catalyst winding drum 28 as main constituents.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
