Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display system that enables a handicapped person to easily view a safety level.SOLUTION: A display system is constituted by including a server and a portable terminal of a wheelchair user. The server is stored with barrier information related to a link. The barrier information includes slope information, step information or slip information. When the portable terminal sends a map display request to the server, the server calculates, based upon the barrier information, safety levels of respective links and classifies the safety levels, and provides information for the portable terminal together with map data. The portable terminal displays a barrier-free map on the basis of information associated with the map data and safety levels that the server provides.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
