Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing lithium ion secondary batteries, capable of preventing a short circuit due to metal foreign substances by promoting dissolution of metal substances mixed between a positive electrode plate and a separator into an electrolyte and promoting diffusion of metal ions derived from dissolved metal foreign substances.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a lithium ion secondary battery 1 includes: a liquid injection step S2; a first pressurizing step S3 of pressurizing an electrode body 20 in a stacking direction SH by a first pressure P1; a pre-charging step S5 of pre-charging the battery 1 to a first battery voltage V1 while the electrode body 20 is pressurized; a second pressurizing step S7 of pressurizing the electrode body 20 in the stacking direction SH by a second pressure P2 higher than the first pressure P1 while the battery 1 is heated and the viscosity of an electrolyte 17 is lowered; and a main charging step S8 of conditioning-charging the battery 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
