To provide an electronic device capable of making range measurements more conveniently, and to provide a method and program for controlling the same.SOLUTION: An electronic device is provided, comprising a controller configured to control switching between a first band mode for using a transmission wave of a first band and a second band mode for using a transmission wave of a second band wider than the first band.
